what is music?
music is the art of touching souls. there is inspirated music and tons of crap...
to create music you..ve got to be inspirated by something, someone.... than you are able to create something like a spiritial conection to the listener and creat a feeling.. music can help you out... makes your heart a better place.. and gives you a way to release-----------------------------------------------------
--------------------my name is niels kramer. i was born and raised in hamburg, germany.
during the past years i moved around quiet a lot, living in hamburg, berlin,
montego bay (jamaica),new york, seattle,cordoba.... and just traveld(asia,usa,europe,northafrica) as often as i could.
kind of the old story. picked up some nice tunes from the parents (stones, miles davis, nick drake, terry callier...) at a young age and finding a way to release my personal pain and feelings.
music realy saved my ass.
well, i guess you know.
i sucked up a lot of influences from david sylvian to nick drake, joni mitchell to prince and this would be a very long list.
in the 80..s i was singing and diletating with my guitar, but as the most musicans know, simple can be very beautyfull too. later i was playing some jam bands,
messing with funk or rock, but to be true: that went to nowhere.
end of the 80ts i bought myself a nice atari st, 1mb, fast as hell and
during the 90ts i was lost into producing electronical music (mostly underground electronicabreakbeatstriphopwhateversymphonyforartexebition)
and dj..n (dr.beatnick, flow, soundflow, nick brake........) my ass off to survive. some of these dj names i used for releasing electronical music as well, like dr. beatnick on brazilectro 6.a few years ago i decided to go back to my roots.
during all that years i was playing guitar, singing, writing songs, but never proberly recorded all that songs, but forgetting tons of it.
while i was traveling spain and thailand from 2003-2005 with my guitar and laptop, i was writing so many little pieces of sound that i made up my mind. i will go on stage, maybe simply acoustic, we..ll see.if you like to listen to some of my chilled electronical tracks please do so at: ------------------------------------------------------------
