Movies:
Movies that make me laff.. or think!!!
I just watched "RENT" on dvd last night! whoa.. what a movie. If you like musicals, and movies check this one out at your local video store. Looks like I will be adding that one to my shelf to keep "Hedwig..and The Angry Inch" company! I am still torn on getting ROCKY HORROR on dvd. I really feel the best format for that flick is on the BIG screen. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise?
Television:
Love British comedies.. My Hero, CHEF, Coupling!!!!. Red Dwarf, BlackAdder, Are You Being Served?, Vicar Of Dibly(sp?)
Love the actors: Lenny Henry, Dawn French, Craig Charles, Chris Barrie. more to be added later.
Books:
Love books on Music, esp biographies. I have re-read Kerry Livgren's book... "Seeds Of Change" I have also read Aerosmith's "Walk This Way", "FLEETWOOD" , Mick Fleetwood , and many other musicial bio's.
Some Horror ( Anne Rice's Vampires are the best) If you want to read some REALLY good writing, check out the author, CHRISTOPHER RICE at the following site,
Click the photo to go to Christopher Rice's site. Imaging from that site.
He has written 3 really awesome books. I just finished Light Before Day. EXCELLENT read! My fave so far of all 3 of the books he has written has been Density Of Souls. Chris has become my favourite author. ( forgive me Anne, but you still are one of my faves as well!!)
Speaking of Anne Rice, I just finished her latest book, "CHRIST THE LORD". Anne pours her usual love of historic detail into this very interesting and grand departure in theme.

Heroes:
Heros are those people that really try to keep their word. So most of the entertainment types do not follow under this catagory.
Esp. those in the music biz. They write checks with their mouths that they can't, or wont ever cash.
Men and women that serve our country honestly and with all they can with some sort of positive moral code.
Cops that HONOR their badges.... Firefighters that stay in the face of certian death to safe a house from pyro's destruction.
those in the medical profession that can see a person's needs over their own pocketbook. those teachers who REALLY care about their students. For example consider the following from Virginia Tech... ... (images captured from America OnLine)
Finding those in each field can be rare. But when you do... It is amazing!
.THOSE ARE HEROS
