About Me

ATTENTION: I AM NOT THE STREET ARTIST D*FACE - YOU CAN FIND HIM AT HTTP://WWW.MYSPACE.COM/D_FACED
My name is Mike, but you can call me DFace, a producer/MC/violinist living in Brighton, UK. I play with a number of artists and bands throughout the UK, namely... as the first violinist in the experimental, improvisational, sensational hip hop jam duo known as "Fidgital" with DJ Buckwilde - SEE LINK IN TOP FRIENDS...
with Mr Fox as one half of the Beatrix, a grimey little scumbag of a rap outfit oozing with bass and storming flows. We make the beats, we write the rhymes. Check us at Skank at The Pool Bar in Shoreditch on 19th July.
with the cyber-heavy funk band Rubberjack as an MC/Party Starter. They make the beats, I write the rhymes. Check us sometime very soon
I occasionally do the odd solo lament of a hip hop set with my man DJ Buckwilde around Brighton.
I HAVE ALSO JUST FINISHED A DRUM N BASS/NEWSROOM THEATRE ALBUM ENTITLED "DFACE PRESENTS GOOD NEWS" THAT BLENDS DARK, ENGROSSING, MELODIC DRUM N BASS WITH A LIGHT-HEARTED LOOK AT THE EVERYDAY. YOU CAN RESERVE YOURSELF A COPY ON MY BLOG ABOVE. DO IT. IT’S PHAT.
I love doing all of the above!
Email me here with tracks, suggestions, comments, big ups etc...
[email protected]
I am also available and keen to do session work at reasonable rates. Contact me either by email (above) or on 07877 274026.
