What’s good MySpace. My name is Corey but I go by the stage name Chief Rock. I don’t just do Hip Hop, I am Hip Hop! Understand what that means! Hip Hop is a global culture that I’ve experienced in my worldly travels. I’ve witnessed the impact of Hip Hop all over the United States, in Europe and Africa! Now, that’s MAJOR for an art form that was started in the Boogie Down Bronx and was written off by everyone who WAS NOT Hip Hop. Almost 30 years later (timeframe is debatable) and you can’t go anywhere without listening to or witnessing Hip Hop in action! As for Chief Rock, I was born in North Philly, 2nd & Susquehanna. If you’ve never been to Philly, go experience the culture. The city is doing major things, as you read this! I currently reside in Northern VA and am proud of my “dual residency†of Philly and VA. As a Hip Hop Artist & Songwriter, I have written for myself and other artists in both Hip Hop and R&B. Believe it or not, I even have “pop†songs that I have written as well! Don’t get it twisted, diversification is not only important in your financial portfolios. It’s all relative! I released my debut CD “All I Wanna Be Is Me†and you can download it at virtually ANY and ALL online vendors, most notably iTunes, for all my fellow iPOD’sters out there.
