About Me

Mostly I'm a selfish, clumsy fool. Beyond that I won't try to describe myself. In trying to describe who we want to be and who we think we are we forget to let God describe us. I think He knows me better than I do, so I'm trying to let Him tell me who to be. Even a fool can do great things if he is willing and tuned to God.[

My Interests

I love learning. I love thinking on and discussing eternity and how we relate to it. I love both listening to and making music. I enjoy making things with my hands. I enjoy being in nature. I love physical exertion and competition. I love mental exertion and competition. I love getting to know individuals and people. I apparently love listing the things I love to do...

I'd like to meet:

My Savior

Music:

Yes, almost all of it. Especially music that is not popular.

Movies:

Occasionally Go watch "End of the Spear", "Amazing Grace", "The Four Feathers", "Pan's Labyrinth", "Kingdom of Heaven", "Longitude", or "Secondhand Lions." Yes, I mean YOU!

Books:

I hope to one day own a copy of every book in the world. For now I'm satisfied with the Bible, which has more truth in it than all the rest combined. (Though books on politics or how to make something are always fun!)

Heroes:

Anyone who is willing to give heavily of themselves for the sake of others. Personal sacrifice is what makes someone a hero.

The Three Voices

The waves have a story to tell me,    As I lie on the lonely beach; Chanting aloft in the pine-tops,   The wind has a lesson to teach; But the stars sing an anthem of glory,  ...

Amazonia, Brasil!!!

Still in Georgetown!

It's funny to think that I should be in Bethany right now building a duplex and instead I'm still sitting in Georgetown. It turns out the ambulance still needed me.  There is a flight nurs...

How does a month slip by so quickly?!?

The eve of summer is upon us, and the Unknown Future approaches.

The days of summer have flown as a flock of geese leaving in the autumn. My summertime has run together in a haze of work and travel, and has nearly run out. It was like yesterday that ...
