Languages, Historical Clothing, Goth: music, clothing, writing. Books, Music in general. A secret love of archery...shh...I like action movies, Tim Burton Movies (but only little kid ones, since I'm such a scaredy cat), water. Some sewing, fantasy: books, art, -type music.
I give you the inspired Lauryn Hill singing "Just Like Water."
Anything/everything. I love, love, love Trance/House/Techno music! Danny Elfman! Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Handel, Purcell, Offenbach, BACH!, some anime music is just tight off the hook!, Gwen Stefani, MCR, Aliyah (sp?) miss that girl. Ha! I dig me some garage Voice!
If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Igor Stravinsky.
Known as a true son of the new 20th Century, my music started out melodic and folky but slowly got more dissonant and bizzare as I aged. I am a traveler and a neat freak, and very much hated those rotten eggs thrown at me after the premiere of "The Rite of Spring."
Who would you be? Dead Russian Composer Personality Test
Miracle at Midnight!!! The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Amelie (dude, I want to be as whimsical as her again), The Matrix (haven't seen the 3rd one), LOTR, The Royal Tennenbaums was a corky bite out of reality, as was the amazing "Life Aquatic." I like all the Addams Family films as well as Hero, House of Flying Daggers and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (in that order.)
I've lost track of Alias however I liked that one. I don't like TV much because it steals attention from homework! OMGosh! My friend Krystl said it, so I have to say it too. Sailor Moon! (but I'm sure all of my post 6th grade friends knew that. I was so obsessed!) lol I've recently discovered Code Lyoko and they're pretty darn cool!
I think one of the greatest inventions was the movable type, I think one of the greatest gifts ever given to me was literacy. I like to use this gift on a regular basis, however I can't think of any great book that tops my list. I'll say for one that the Bible is an intellectual piece of literature that people don't notice has such depth. And I dig The Prophet. I was reading Tao Te Ching for a while (haven't finished yet). Spiritual Warfare, A Grief Observed. Soul Survivor (P.Yancey)
Spiritually: Jesus
Spiritually/Politically: Gandhi
Vocally: Lara Fabian (admit it, she sounds more realistic and beautiful than some opera singers!)
