Curiosity killed the something...
My Tattoos:
People are supposed to make love. It's their main purpose in life. All those other activities- playing the violin, washing dishes, reading novels, drinking wine- are just ways of passing time, until you can make love again.
Really just Ellen Page, thanks.
Alright, fine- just about anyone else... although that would probably involve me getting up off the couch first. Hmm, we'll see.
Just to clear something up however...Something that'll prolly make you sick....
I've been pretty sick of everything mainstream in the last couple of years played at noisome. Listening to a lot of acid jazz, downbeat lo-fi or or lounge music lately- St. Germain, Dzihan & Kamien, Nightmares on Wax, The Dining Rooms, Caia, Tosca, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Morcheeba. Also into some brazilian- Nicola Conte, Rosalia De Souza. Jazz like Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto and Madeleine Peyroux. For some reason everytime I'm in the mood for some vinyl, I can't stop listening to Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull and Herb Alpert... I know, all over the place right.
Any of Judd Apatow's projects: Superbad, 40-year old Virgin, Talladega Nights, Anchorman- the Legend of Ron Burgundy, Knocked Up, Superbad. Can't forget the amazing Joss Whedon for Serenity.
But in General- Suspence Thrillers, Zombie Movies, good Sci-Fi. Hi-budget Action-Adventure where they 'blow stuff up' is always good mindless viewing and exercise for the surround sound setup. Mainstream Comedies complete with gratuitous nudity are great for getting stoned and forgetting all my responsibilities for a couple of hours. Dark Comedies when I'm in a more serious mood. My friends have accused me of being a movie snob- especially when it comes to seeing something in the theater. Tend to overanalyze movies sometimes and totally stop paying attention, realizing that it's a movie (usually complete with bad acting) and not getting fully engrossed by it. A movie can be boring to most or really slow-paced but still keep me interested if there's a good score or if I like the cinematography or use of colors and lighting.
As far as TV goes... well Far too much of it. Between DVR and DVDs I never seem to catch anything as it airs. But by the time the hype's died down, if I still hear good things, I'll start a series from the begining and get addicted- watching an entire season in a week or two (ie Lost, Deadwood). I'm also a trekie- but new stuff only: TNG, DS9, VOY. Can't forget BtVS, ATS and FF- Huge Joss Whedon Fan. David Greenwalt for Jake 2.0. I'm onboard with anything that Jason Katims gets involved in- before it eventually gets campy or the story lines get to preposterous- My so-called Life, Roswell, Boston Public- Judd Apatow for Freeks and Geeks and Undeclared. I like the challenge shows on TLC and Discovery- Overhaulin, Rides, The 'Tuttell Family Fun Hour' American Chopper, etc. There's a few sitcoms I'll tolerate- laughtracks and all, but they've gotta be really good to be worth it. Seems as though there's more sitcoms with an actor talking directly to the viewer now a days- if only Fox didn't realize how funny this is before they cancelled Titus. Love classic Simpsons (seasons 4-9), Futurama, Family Guy, Drawn Together, and Danger Mouse for my toonz fix; and Fraggle Rock and Greg the Bunny for fun with mops. Generally I try to resist voyeur-vision reality tv garbage, but it's everywhere and hard to tune out.Currently I'm playing catchup and hooked on Lost Season 3- watchin 2 or 3 episodes a day, and Boston Public Season 1 just started again. Arrested Development as much as I can. I'm saving up some of the new episodes of Heroes. I'll start them soon tho.

StarTrek VOY & DS9, BtVS, Angel, Fan Fiction.... and Yes, finally, I've broken my Comic Book virginity with Buffy Season 8! I don't know how you guys do it- I thought waiting a week at a time between TV episodes was torturous! I mean a month between comic book issues!!!
