Mönkeywax is a classic-to-current rock cover band which formed in the spring of 2006. Having been weaned on all forms of rock, metal, jazz, and instrumental acoustic music as teenagers the band members have been able to create something pretty cool. The group plays a unique blend of music spanning 5 decades of both mainstream hits and a healthy dose of lesser known tunes all of which are guaranteed to get your ass shaking and your fists pumping.
Comprised of four members (Steve Andrews/guitar, Mark Panniello/vocals, John Pata/drums & backing vocals, and Ron Reppucci/electric bass) the group aims to please. They can often be found rocking the local hangouts of Newburyport, MA, Gloucester, MA, and Portsmouth, NH and are always looking for new places to play.
