...so who am I... Well.... I have a bookingagency, I am a fire artist, I walk on stilts, I have different characters that to host your party, and I organise parties. If you want to book me, send me a message!!!

I am a bit of a stranger in a strange land. Always felt that way, and love to feel like this because it keeps me amazed, which is the sparkle in my life. I love to create, to dream and to play.
I organize the Bal du Masque in Amsterdam and several other parties. I am a cultural anthropologist, and write and give lectures on performativity, subcultures etc. I am also a performance artist, and have several characters I love to act out. I also work with fire in a group called Flames of Chaos.

For a longer version: well, I tend to organize crazy stuff like indoor picknicks, squat parties at mysterious locations, boat-trips, weird Japanese Tokyo Decadance parties, or festivals like Women in Paradise in Paradiso. I just like to bring people together, give them a dream-space, and have fun while doing so! This goes for the parties I organise, for the music I play, and for the shows I do. With anthropology, I tend to show with honour and humanity the dark spaces that some of us call home. It is the only academic genre that can be used in a proper way, and I love it.
The Green Fairy guides me and inspires me through all my different ventures. She is a nasty but fiery muze, and she has taken over my body several occasions. Her drink brings the sparkle to my Bal du Masque, and brings the proper atmosphere to my creative dreamworld, my dark waters of reflection. The Absinthe, the life!!
This is me and a fellow Fairy... bringing Absinthe to the Masses and sharing a loving moment... ah... why can't things like these last?
The following scrap of parchment was made after a trip I organised called "The Search for the Black Pearl" (see www.baldumasque.nl for more information). Pirates, Goths and Vikings all boarded the ship "De Vliegende Draeck" for a whole weekend of party, drinking, treasurehunting and long talks around the campfire...
One of my alter-ego's: The Medusa Figure... cursed by the gods for loving humans... I know, they aren't always the best of creatures, but to be cursed for loving them? For love? Poor snakes, it is always them that have to symbolize evil... that is probably why I like them so much...
