COSMOGONIA

COSMOGONIA means the formation of the world through myths, before appearing the first philosophers to question the origin of the man.
It was this denomination that in 1994, two girls, Elisângela and Vanessa had found to place in the band who they already had formed. With ideals these two teachers (Elisângela - History/Geography and Vanessa - Portuguese/English) had in common left in search of girls to play and thus the first assays had happened. Throughout the years the band made diverse shows in São Paulo, interior and even in other States (Brasilia, Paraná, Goiânia, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia). Also they had recorded two demon - you cover and had participated of some coletâneas. Force of will and persistence had been the two characteristics that had made the band to be in the active until today.
Exactly having passed for diverse formations and having surpassed diverse barriers, what still she happens, the Cosmogonia band has 11 years of road and a concern with the musical quality.
Getting loose itself of classifications, the band today has intention to only make a good music, varying the subjects of the songs and if mattering in passing something true, significant and spontaneous.

The Cosmogonia band is preparing a new record that already is in daily pay-production phase.
COSMOGONIA significa a formação do mundo através dos mitos, antes de surgirem os primeiros filósofos para questionarem a origem do homem.
Foi essa denominação que em 1994, duas garotas, Elisângela e Vanessaencontraram para colocar na banda que elas já haviam formado. Com ideais em comum essas duas professoras (Elisângela -História/Geografia e Vanessa - Português/Inglês) partiram em busca demeninas para tocar e assim aconteceram os primeiros ensaios. Ao longo dos anos a banda fez diversos shows em São Paulo, interior eaté em outros Estados (Brasília, Paraná, Goiânia, Rio de Janeiro,Bahia). Também gravaram duas demo - tapes e participaram de váriascoletâneas. Força de vontade e persistência foram as duas características quefizeram a banda estar na ativa até hoje.
Mesmo tendo passado por diversas formações e tendo superado diversasbarreiras, o que ainda acontece, a banda Cosmogonia tem 11 anos deestrada e uma preocupação com a qualidade musical.
Desprendendo-se de classificações, a banda hoje tem o intuito de fazeruma boa música, variando os temas das canções e apenas se importando empassar algo verdadeiro, significativo e espontâneo.

A banda Cosmogonia está preparando um novo disco que já está em fase depré-produção.
