About Me
My name is Stephen Larsen I have been a struggling semi- pro musician in Austin since 1988. During my darkest times in the music biz (2000-2001), I completed a lo-budget, feature length documentary film (1:19) entitled "Lifers : Rediscovering my Muse". It looks at what it takes to truly be a musician.
At the time I was making this film, the musicians I interviewed made me feel like I wasn't alone in my life choices, hopes, high's and low's that came with my decision to become a musician. Finishing the project was very therapeutic to me artistically, and I think other individuals struggling with the same issues within the music industry, may be inspired by seeing this movie.
