BETTY BLANCO aka THE GODMOTHER! LOL

Betty Blanco is 23 yrs of age born in Orange County but raised mostly in San Diego California. She comes from a heavily influential musical background. Music has influenced everyone in her family from the youngest to the oldest. Her family includes artists whom are former Grammy award winners and have been at one point #1 on Latin billboards. In relation to her musical background on September 15, 1998 she had the opportunity to perform a Spanish Anthem in a talent show reported live on Channel 12 of local TV. After being recognized with a second prize award out of 20 other contestants, her career got a jump start as she began writing her first songs. Her journey in search of recognition for her musical interests was generated. Being a Mexican American female growing up in a predominantly Black/Hispanic neighborhood in San Diego, she was abundantly influenced by the streets. Hip Hop and R & B are a great part of the person she has come to represent. She is an aspiring singer seeking to break one of the hardest genres in the music industry R & B. Although she recognizes the presence of race, money, color, and culture, she does not live to distinguish others on those standards, instead she focuses on deciphering what is true to her. Her persistence has brought her to meet many different artists, producers, rappers, singers, marketing directors, behind the scene engineers etc. Her struggles have humbled her to live life day by day never taking anything for granted. Recognized by most people for her sunny demeanor, some may have come to know her by Soleil.
