My Interests

Being outside.....hiking, paddling, climbing, frisbee golf, swimming, writing, music festivals, reading books, dogs, drums, sports

Movies:

Tin Cup is the only movie I watch. I watch it again again. Kevin Costner brings "Roy McAvoy" to life in an unparalled performance, and brings to mind, all the zen masters i've studied all my life. His "trailer living ethics" are the standard by which I live my life. I only hope one day to bear a child so that I may subject him/her to the movie Tin Cup; and so inspire my own offspring to champion mediocrity in the same fashion that Roy(Kevin) does in his once in a lifetime "swing for the fences" delivery. Never lay up.

Books:

Celestine Prophecy, Tao of Pooh, Te of Piglet, Illusions (Richard Bach), Thitch Nat Hanh, ALL the Harry Potter Books, Carl Yung, Peter Jenkins, GARRISON KEILLOR!!, Garcia/the biography, David Sedaris is hilarious!, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, On The Road-Kerouac, Anything by Kerouac really...dharma bums is a classic!, N. D. Walsh, Ayn Rand, Deepak Chopra, Dickens, "Walkin on the happy side of misery"/ J.R. (Model-T) Tate, bill bryson is a funny writer, all the classics especially harper lee, aldous huxley, Walden, I don't really like sci-fi, or political intrigue stuff...Anaise Nin, michael crichton, anything about zen especially, Mother Earth News magazine, take out chineese menus, etc....
