About Me

Straight from Tenleytown DC...
Broken Bodies is Sean, Daniel, Lucas and Zack, four members dedicated to playing hardcore that reflects their ideals: anti-racism, anti-homophobia, pro-feminist, anti-fascist, anti- authoritarian, and pro-socialist. We draw from a variety of influential bands and styles which has resulted in a blend dubbed skoicore (skapunk/streetpunk/hardcore/oi).

Brief History:
We started playing in late 2005 as a skacore band under a different name. After the first show and two bad recordings we disbanded, only to reform again in late 2006 finally under the name "Broken Bodies". By then our style and musical ability had evolved and advanced. We were all heavily influenced by 80's hardcore music, specifically the sound from DC. Check out this videos from our first show.

You might be thinking , "hey why do these recording sound like shit?" this is because we only used 3 mics to record them all, so we are trying to get in a recording studio, meaning our songs could sound a lot cleaner. But not too clean cuz we like our music raw, as should you.
