At a friends party Gustavo (17) seen the power of the Dj, so he quickly started to learn from a mutual friend Turntables Kev. After mastering that elemental Phantom started to make a series mixtapes: The Phantom's Back, The Street Vol.1 , The Street Vol.2 Hosted By: Killa Sha, The Street Vol.3 Hosted By: Ron Browz & Bars & Hooks, The Street Vol.4 Hosted By: Juelz Santana, Street Hop Vol 1 & 2, Cruel Summer, Hood Rich and collaborating with Big Mike, Cutmaster C, GhostFace, Trife, Theodore Unit, Saigon, ODB, Kanye West, Consequence, Bars & Hooks, Tragedy Khadafi, N.O.R.E., RedMan, James Ellis, Duke Da God, and Juelz Santana just to mention a few heavy hitters.
Bubbling his name in the mixtape circuit Gustavo was offered to Dj for R&B sensation Ashanti afterpartys, also during that time period making his daily label run's he stumbled on to Bars & Hooks & Prodigy of Mobb Deep. Bars & Hooks a up in coming New York City Hip Hop group signed to Infamous Records (Prodigy Of Mobb Deep Label) quickly gelled with Gustavo vibe and then started to release volumes on mixtapes: Bars & Hooks, Vol 1 & 2, The Next Generation, The Most Notorious, Black Nsync, The Ammunition & makes Gustavo their Dj.
At 18th Gustavo started Money Maker Inc, he was feed up of the lack of culture in Hip-Hop. Working on his vision of bring back the Hip Hop sound he meet Benjamin' Ben Grimm' Vargas & A.B.E.(Abe Jimenz) aka The Now & Laterz, The Crescent Street Natives started their own revolution.
