You are in the right place!... . ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ************************ ************************************************************ ************ Karin is a Temple University graduate with a degree in Broadcasting/Communications. With her individualistic voice and unmatched personality, Karin is the ideal broadcaster in the fast paced entertainment industry. Although this Israeli-native, was unable to speak a word of English at her first arrival in the United States, she has mastered the art of communication. Currently Karin is an on-camera personality for Video City TV hosting events, and conducting interviews. ************************************************************ ************Karin interned for the Couzin Ed show on 94.1 WYSP, where she became the first intern in 15 years to work directly in the studio on the show. She participated in the show on various occasions as a personality, known as “Karin the Intern”. Listeners began building a liking to when her bio was posted up and she became a regular on the show. Contests for the radio station listeners were created for whoever could create the best “Karin the Intern” posters. ************************************************************ ************ Karin’s creative and fast paced mind is not only an advantage in her on-camera work, but in other fields as well. In the summer of 2007, Karin organized an event with well-known celebrity appearances at a local nightclub. Single-handedly, she booked the artists, promoted the event, sold tickets, and raised money. Karin was also an administrative assistant for the Captain of Special Services in the Temple University Police Department. She was in charge of coordinating security for all special events on campus, prepare and present student orientations and lectures about the safety on campus, creating creative media work for the department such flyers, posters, awards, articles for the Temple News, and the annual Campus Safety Brochure. Karin was featured in the ‘06-’07 Campus Safety Brochure as a warning to all students about the dangers of not paying attention while walking. These were also made into posters and dispersed throughout Temple’s campus.***************************************************** *******************Karin is also very involved with the community. She has volunteered for various charity events. For two years in a row, she helped set up and raise money for a Christmas party, which ended up providing over 300 gifts for local children. She also helped organize and collect sponsors for a charity event she participated in. With 500 other bikers, she rode the 67 mile Tour De Shore bike ride for Project H.O.M.E., which helped underprivileged children and their families attain education, Medicare, housing opportunities and employment. She volunteered at a Pegasus horse stable where every week mentally challenged children would come to do routine exercises and just enjoy themselves in a social scene.
