About Me

"There’s more than guitars, bass and drums to Clouds Over Brooklyn. Oh sure, that standard rock ’n’ roll instrumentation is the load-bearing skeleton that forms the frame of this local band, but it’s filled in with lots of decorative musical architecture. " -Bill Chapin, Times Herald
A sound that pleases the ears of humans, an uplifting wave that makes ones body move, acoustic folk meets experimental indie-rock, symbols crashing like waves from a tropical storm, chills running down your spine, an energy source that makes you feel alive once again: This is Clouds Over Brooklyn.
It started off as a solo instrumental project by Peters, but when Edgerton came in the picture, pure guitar and vocal harmony took place. Though they have been through few bass players, Kaatz’s attitude and dedication towards their music told Clouds Over Brooklyn that they have the right man. Since summer of 2006 when Finos came into the picture, before it was a full band, she had 4 songs complete on the first day of practicing, it was brilliant. The percussion style of Moses is unique and creative, using his sticks as if they are his tool to survive.
In early August of 2007 the band parted ways but ended everything on good terms. Peters and Finos are still writing together and you will hopefully here from them soon!
