Born in the backstreets of Chicago, Space Case is a funkadelic groove trio that is reminiscent of MMW and The Duo. Kit Wolverton (keys) and John Armbruster (bass, vocals) grew up together in Chicago and began jamming together in their youth. The call of the West brought them to Reno, Nevada where they met up with drummer and vocalist, Mike Springer, who completed the circle of funk. They thought about calling their band Monatee Advanced for quite sometime, but finally settled on Space Case (reluctantly), due to advice from their manager.
