I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a tomboy in ribbons and lace. I think trust is sexy and honesty comes from strength. I enjoy embracing all that I am passionate about. I am a very social being and highly interactive, yet I need my alone time as well. I desire spending time with close friends, yet I am always open to meeting new people. I am driven by courage, bravery, and faith in myself and in those who surround me. I like cutting through the fluff and getting down to what is real. I am ready and willing to receive advice from those who know me well enough to offer it. I believe kindness and integrity are two of the most important qualities one can offer. I prefer for the underdog to come out on top. I like putting my feet on the table and sitting on the kitchen counter just because... And I love having the chance to try something new. I want to know why things have to be the way they are. I want to be remembered well and spoken of fondly. I want to know that wherever my life takes me, I am exactly where I am suppose to be. I think mean people are the worst thing there is. Why can't everyone embrace kindness and tolerance? I lose my car keys more often than I should, and I want to save the world one puppy at a time. I love holding hands and I believe in the magic that can be found under the stars with sand in between my toes. I believe in laughing and loving and I believe in my friends. And always remember to express a little love at every given opportunity.

My Interests

Interesting and brilliant people, animal rescue, urban tribes, road trips, going for coffee, trust, self-reliance, Gigsville, roman candle wars, success, travel, sensuality, medieval anything, fur, velvet, dogs, music, movies, laughter, costumes, camping, real estate, kissing, burning man, romance, best friends, sushi, wisdom, the other point of view, forgiveness, investing, fire spinning, love, playing with my friends.

I'd like to meet:

Those who will leave an indelible impression upon my life.

Music:

Music is where I first discovered passion. The very first time I ever felt I had been deeply touched by something beyond childhood was from music. I get lost in it so easily. For me, it creates emotion and stirs my soul. I can listen for hours, if not days on end, and never grow tired of the sounds. I enjoy everything from the classical composers, Jazz, Blues, and Broadway Musicals, to classic Rock & Roll and the most modern of mixes and recordings. Entertaining the idea of making a list of that which I find appealing to listen to seems as silly as attempting to count the stars in the sky. By the way, have I ever mentioned I have a star named after me? I have a map of the location and everything!

Movies:

I relish in the journey of watching a movie. I enjoy traveling through the different times, places, and emotions I would not be able to reach so easily on my own in the spur of the moment. I don't feel movies are an escape, but rather a destination. Movies are an emotional adventure through ourselves as well as the physical universe. In just moments, one can travel to the ends of the Earth, the bottom of the ocean, the other side of the of the universe, or into the darkest or brightest parts of one's own own being.I would imagine the list of movies that have touched me in some way is as endless as the imaginations of those who create them in the first place. Here are just a few that have left a lasting impression:The Incredibles, Lord of the Rings, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Star Wars, The Godfather, The Matrix, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Spiderman, Highlander, Clash of the Titans, A River Runs Through It, Tombstone, Practical Magic, Apocalypse Now, Braveheart, American Beauty, Moulin Rouge, Alien, Princess Bride, The Pelican Brief, Titanic, Shawshank Redemption, The Village, Tron, Breakfast Club, The Seventh Sign, Mists of Avalon, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Million Dollar Baby, Pulp Fiction, Starship Troopers

Television:

Television = Bad

Books:

Urban Tribes, Alice in Wonderland, Get A Financial Life, Unique Cook Books, The Soul Of Sex, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Philip Pullman, George R.R. Martin

Heroes:

Violet from 'The Incredibles', anyone who can love completely, and my Dad.
