About AL3Albert Lineses III a.k.a AL3 is the 2005 & 1998 National DJ Champion & more importantly one of the hottest DJs on the planet! Watching AL3 soar through records at lightning speed while he accelerates a crowd into a frenzy with his turntable tricks and mic rockin’ skillz, is a an experience that leaves audiences in awe & dance floors on fire! AL3 loves to take crowds on a journey through sound, by blending everything from hip-hop, house to rock and everything in between and leave you saying, “Damn, that DJ made my day!” On a weekly basis AL3 continually packs nightclubs and creates lines of people waiting to get a taste of the flava he serves up! Albert began his dream of becoming a DJ after listening to a cassette tape of Grandmaster Flash’s “Adventures on the Wheels of Steel” and seeing a Herbie Hancock TV Concert featuring Grandmixer D.ST scratching on the song “Rock It”. Since that fateful experience, AL3 has become a marquee name on radio stations throughout the nation, such as, Power 92, 1047 KISS, 103.9 The Party, HOT 98, KWNZ & Sassy 107.AL3 has shown the value that a turntablist/love show host can bring to a radio station by increasing ratings in each of his time slots. Labor Day Weekend 2000, AL3 set a world record by mixing for 66 hours live without any sleep, drugs or caffeine, to raise money for children’s charities. This feat was broadcast live from Game Works, in Tempe, Arizona on POWER 92 FM. That same year AL3 also used all the proceeds from his highly successful mix CD series to purchase back to school uniforms for over 600 less fortunate children in various urban neighborhoods. AL3’s nation-wide audience saw him on WGN, as he co-hosted the Thump T.V. Dance Show for two years in 2000-2002. AL3 is a member of The L.A. Heavyweights and The West Coast DJs & Producers, who’s roster also includes legendary DJs, Bobcat, Dr. Dre, Q-Bert, Tony G., AM & Vice, just to name a few. AL3 is currently enjoying the fruits of his hard labor as he spends his days with his two beautiful daughters, Athena (Age 5) & Mellina (14 Months) and spends his nights rockin’ nightclubs & radio stations throughout the nation!
