About Me

Heya, i am currently completing school at the University of Western Ontario and am pursuing a PHD in english. when it comes to the arts, i am a huge nerd. i love languages and cultures as well as literature. i never watch TV and always have a book with me. i often spend my days in the library and my nights at the bar. however, when it comes to math and numbers i am cross-eyed and drooling. i still count on my fingers....seriously :P i am extremely socialable and love to laugh, mostly at myself. i am exceptionally honest and blunt. people have been known to misinterpret these characterisitcs...

My Interests

i am a social drinker, however i am a connoisseur of wine. i drink it with meals as well as when i do my readings. i am also very interested in all animals. i have a wonderful cat, whose name is Nala, but that does not make me solely a cat person. i hate spiders......MORE THAN ANYTHING!!!

I'd like to meet:

People

Music:

literally everthing. i even have a Disney playlist. Hakuna Matata Baby!!!!

Movies:

i am spilling my soul here....when i go to the movie store.....i rent cartoons. the flinstones, tom and jerry, jem, disney movies. i am aware i am very odd. they just put me in a good mood. i find it very difficult to sit through a 2 hour movie, unless it is a foreign film. they tend to be very clever, and it gives me a chance to practice my spanish.

Books:

all the classic pieces of dated literature no one reads anyone!!!! my favs are 'Madame Bovary', 'Tender is the Night', 'Crime and Punishment' (as cliche as that sounds), and 'The Underground Man'. i read alot, i honestly dont have cable nor do i even enjoy watching tv. i attained a list of 'the 100 pieces of classic literature' when i was in highschool. since then i have read 68 of them. my goal is to read all of them eventually, except of couse the victorian novels.....I HATE VICTORIAN NOVELS!!!

Heroes:

many of my professors....actually too many to name.
