Hurrah! Top 100 Brighton is back. We're at the Fortune of War every Friday from now till my brain explodes. Possibly sooner rather than later. Basically if you 'orrible lot don't start coming down more often I'm gonna sack it off cos it's just too depressing.
Anyway, the Fortune's pretty natty and we've put some big speakers in there so you can rave if it's looking like there might be a rave in the offing. Hell, we might even move the furniture around to make room for poorly coordinated limb flailing or booze enhanced cat swinging. You're spoilt aren't you? Plus, dunno if you noticed but there's a bit of a nautical theme going on in the Fortune, yeah? You see it now, right? So you can always put a pointy hat and a patch on and make like a pirate like all those cretins at Bestival do. What the blazes is all that about? When did piracy become fashionable? Pirates were a genuine menace back in the day. They fucked with trade routes, brought misery to millions, raped, pillaged....And don't for a minute assume life on board a pirate ship was glamorous. Oh no...! You were more likely to get your nuts cut off in some kerazy pirate prank, get keelhauled (look it up) or get scurvy than you were to find buried treasure under a fucking palm tree. I don't understand it myself. Piracy is evil and pirates look stupid. Pack it in. What's wrong with a simple white shell suit?
