Now, onto me :)Time to update, yes? A lot changes in a year. I mean, after some botox even my evil scowl lines are gone :)First, a picture of my pony Mark.
My fiance, my dog, my friends and my horses are the central themes in my life, but I also nerd out and do nutty stuff like make soap (not that cheap melt and pour stuff, but the real shit made with lye!), lotion, lip balm--shit like that. I tend to get involved in little crafty things that I'm all gung-ho about, but quickly lose time/interest. I've picked up my beading again though, perhaps i'll finish my browband one day.
I have, in the past year, completed FOUR Horse Trials. Horse trials, or "events" are a made up of three phases of riding--Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. It is the epitome of fun if you are a horse person who enjoys working toward a tangible goal with your riding, AND like to go fast and jump stuff ;)I run a rescue/retrain/rehoming group for Thoroughbreds coming off the track (which is why i dont call you back), and I believe there is no heart in the world like these horses. I currently own 5 Exracers and a Hanoverian/TB cross that I foxhunt and enjoy when i get the time. I grew up doing hunters/jumpers and Eq, but now consider myself firmly entranced in the "Event" camp as stated above.I'm a voracious user of my digital camera, a Canon 20D dubbed "Clive" because he's so damn sexy. My favorite things to shoot are horses and friends riding horses.Boy. I'm super thrilling, yes?Though I live in the land of concrete, traffic and starbucks, I also own a small slice of personal heaven near Southern Pines, North Carolina that I visit often.
