Horses, and all their accessories. I'm also a crazy cat lady. Scary, isn't it.
Well, since I can't meet Jimi Hendrix or Paul Wellstone, how about all sorts of people; someone who can amuse me. People who like horses, animals, music, wine, old houses, fixing up old houses, getting your groove on, gardening, making stuff, creative outlets, restaurants or really good food, movies, books, going places, animals, nature, saving our streams, sanding my floors, walking around with your head in the clouds, yoga, getting lost, or just general good times.

Fargo ... need I say more? OK, I will. My favorite movies have been (in no particular order) My Life as a Dog, Ridicule, Six Degrees of Separation, High Fidelity, The Name of the Rose, Glory, Miss Firecracker, Raising Arizona, Swarm of the Snakeheads, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and those Lord of the Rings. Once I dreamt I was Gollum ... that was creepy, no that was fun. Napolean Dynamite, This is Spinal Tap, The Gods Must be Crazy, Little Miss Sunshine, Once, Control.
My favorite TV show is the Wire. I like Jon Stewart too. The funniest show ever was Dave Chapelle's Show and I am very sad it is over. Apparently, I am very, very white. Stuff White People Like
Let's say I was stranded on a desert island and I got to pick 5 books. Here goes: Things Fall Apart - Chinua Achebe (I love this gem and could read it over and over, like a fourth grader.) When Things Fall Apart - Pema Chodron (Because I'd get really sad being stranded and want to make sense of it all. I've read it 7 times since 2003, but is that really enough?) I Capture the Castle - Dodie Smith (This book puts me in a happy place.) Some miscellaneous book on Numerology, because once again, I'd have a need to make sense of it all. Crime and Punishment - Dostoyevsky, this would allow for endless self discussions and whig outs.I'd also want the everything by Laura Lippman, seeing as I'd be missing out on the Baltimore grime and crime, but that's way more than 5 books.
