Chaos, Paradox, Truth, Information, Learning, Growth, Love, Sex, the Human Mind, Art, Drawing, Video Games, Psyconautical adventures deep deep into the subconscious, pillaging, keel-hauling scalawags, the open sea, yadda yadda yadda.... ARRRRR
Cool, honest, open mided students of life. Change is the only constant that can be relied upon, so no matter how much we think we know... Ha ha! we don't. Of course everyones idea of what constitutes "cool people" is different. For me it's people who base their judgements (don't kid yourself, we all judge to one degree or another) on a persons character and actions, not on superficial crap like how down they are with morphing their appearance, manerisms, attitude and style to match the current trend. Understand that open mindedness is being able and willing to listen to a point of view that you may not agree with, and listen as if you have no opinion on the subject. Mental/Spiritual growth is not possible if you close your mind to the possibility that you're wrong or, more likely, that there is truth, value and something to be learned from all viewpoints. Like from peasants, I can learn how the human form responds to kicking while they grovel in the muck.
And now for my pretentious use of a favorite pholosopher quote:True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing.
-Socrates (469 BC - 399 BC)and a not so pretentious sounding one:"I would not know what the spirit of a philosopher might wish more to be than a good dancer."
-Friedrich Nietzsche, The Gay Science, section 381
