It is the firm belief of the musical group, Prophecy, that true hip hop is seldom portrayed these days. We believe also that effort and work ethic will go a lot further than talent. With that being said, we vision ourselves fitting into the music business as artists' first and then rappers, because we don't believe that we make a certain kind of music. Good music is just that, good music. We put a lot of humor, emotion, pain and most of all time into our passion. Therefore we believe our potential is uncanny. If we had to describe or compare our style, we would say it is somewhere in between The Lox and Outkast, just before Eminem and after Jay-Z. We don't have a style because we cater to many different audiences, genders, and races. Our musical inspiration influences have varied from Stevie Wonder to Tupac and Nickel Back.
