It's all about music, fabric & sewing for me, the smell, taste, textures and designs of fabric. And the sweet sounds of a sewing machine roaring away. Well they are sweet sounds until you realized it's your finger your sewing not the fabric. (has happened twice now and those pieces are the Raven Forest Quilt & Elf Power tote bag ) I love looking at a person removing the flesh and seeing them as a patchwork design. Much more interesting. I am Matka & creator of Patchwork Wasteland. My main character is Maddy, she is created from my early sketches, and has now evolved her way to my fabric world. I add my one of a kind patchwork designs to my quilts, guitar bags, banjo bags, mandolin bags, hand bags, skirts, shirts, pants and more.
