Asked by distribution to focus on new material, Joalby has chosen to shelve the original debut album "Metamorphosis - Season For Change" and is instead focusing on recording and releasing the OFFICIAL debut album Mr. Mox - Go With Yourself" for release late 2007, tying in with his becoming a foster parent. The album is being produced by Jason Latendresse of Xcite Music and will be executive produced by Joalby. The new album will find Joalby recording songs in English, French, Spanish, and Qawaali (Urdu). Tracks from the previously recorded unreleased album MAY see release on compilations, benefit cds or other albums at a later date. Recently, Joalby added producer, songwriter, and activist to his repertoire. Originally only working on material for himself, Joalby has now written and/or produced material for Todd Evans of NBC's Fame, Candice Coleman of American Idol 2, and has begun work on the debut single by Alden Wynn of American Idol, among others. The debut album "Go With Yourself" is scheduled for release July 2008 and will feature guest vocals from Leah Andreone, Skott Freedman, Brian Jacobs, Randi Driscoll, Jason Latendresse, among others.
Joalby has begun the search for new producers for his upcoming projects.
2008 NEWS 2008 will find Joalby releasing much music. June 20th of 2008 Joalby will make available on Itunes a track with all proceeds benefiting the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (for which Joalby is an Ambassador). July 2008 will see the release of Joalby's debut album.
Keep an eye out for Voyces United for UNHCR , the benefit compilation album Joalby organized and executive produced for UNHCR. Featuring various major label and indie artists. Album NOW AVAILABLE.
