is Dedicated to All our Friends who had a strong influence in the U.S. Punk/Hardcore/Ska community
--and-- our lives before passing on.

2005 was really an overwhelming year for deaths in the New York scene. The idea for this page was brought about by Ron Rancid & I after losing our friend Rickfits, and learning the Brian Deneke story. We realized having a main place to grieve our friends with others would be comforting and supportive, as well as tangible. Its more saddening every time i get word of a new loss, because its constant. But at the same time, I'm told of people's touching reasons for wanting such a page.

My Interests

This tribute is people only in the Punk/Hardcore/Ska scenes in the United States-- who died before their time. This page is --not-- for very famous punks like the Ramones, the Clash & others we admired but --for-- (lesser known) friends we knew & loved. This site will help inform others, as well as post tributes.

In the comments, feel free to put the name of your fallen friend along with pix, stories or your own goodbye/eulogy to share with others. This is our way of celebrating their life.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who's had the misfortune of losing an amazing friend in the Punk Scene and wants him or her celebrated here.

Family members please contact me, your input is my priority.
