I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

I'd like to think I'm an average person with not-so-average tastes. I have a relatively active social life. My nights, however, are not filled with sports bars, poker night, or watching sports or fishing shows. I do occasionally visit drinking establishments, but moreso for the social atmosphere and much less for "picking up" on people. I much prefer nightclubs with an "industrial" or "retro" flavor in music and style, or laid-back coffee shops, or even any places with karaoke or open mike nights to serve as my haunts.
I like to consider myself educated, but not intimidatingly so. I don't appear terribly attractive or horrid, but I do have a lovely singing voice, if I do say so myself. I've been both the sinner as well as the saint, and now I'm simply trying to be a better person.
I enjoy learning about the world's culture, history, and nature, and I'm nearly always willing to discuss or learn something about these topics. I'm not saying that I'm even close to being an expert on any of the above, I'm just saying that I find them very interesting.
My hobbies cover a broad range, including but are not limited to: cooking (mostly barbecue, grilling, pasta, and vegetables, but I'm willing to experiment), crafting jewelry from organic and inorganic materials (I like to call them "urban tribal adornments"), discussing (and implementing) global improvement, outdoor activities (biking, camping, hiking, park-cruising, sparring, walking, or even outdoor and bonfire parties), reading (culture, fiction, history), role-playing games (such as D20 [D&D, D20 Modern, Star Wars], White Wolf [old-school WoD over WoD two-point-oh], and rarely RIFTS), sketch art (with or without color), social activities (clubs, fetish shows, karaoke bars, parties, and open-mike nights.), and writing (essays and stories mostly), just to name a few.
