ART: Renaissance, Gothic
Cloister Graveyard in the Snow (1810) by David Friedrich - one of my favorites
Creative writing is a growing passion of mine and I especially enjoy literature that falls into the Southern Gothic category (see my blog for more info).
Obscure elements in life...
...I revel in the sensual smell of leather, the enticing chill of stainless steel against my skin...and a smokin' bike that's just finished a hard run... ;)
I have a deep interest in counter-cultures as well as tribal lifestyles and largely consider myself a modern primitive who often feels trapped in this sterile, modern corporate society - despite which, I still manage a great sense of humor...LMAO!
Love nature and my sweet Florida...
Outskirts of Everglades..sunlight casting its moving shadow
Love dancing (mostly to Gothic-Industrial music)...
Riding on the back of a bike (meaning motorcycle)...
Experiencing Mother Nature - part of how I grew up.
To me, there's nothing better than the
anticipation & onset of a Florida thunderstorm...
the earthy, intoxicating wet scent...
the charge & power of
lightning in the air...
deep, soul shaking thunder...
the sensuality of the wind & rain....
enchanting colors...
the deepest blue, gray and black clouds......

You Are a Prophet Soul
You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone.
Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.
Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run.
No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.
You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle.
Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings.
A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning.
You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.
Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul
What Kind of Soul Are You?

Which tarot card are you?
Spiritual enlightenment, inner illumination,
hidden power.
Link between seen and unseen.
Balance of positive and negative forces.
Receptivity. Unseen guidance.
A young woman sits on a throne holding a scroll
labeled "Tora" meaning "law."
On her breast is the sign of the meeting of heaven
and earth, the Maltese cross.
Her crown is the full orb supported by horns,
the crown of the Mother Goddess Isis,
who rules all things changeable,
shown by the moon at her feet.
Her power, upon which her throne rests,
derives from the creative principle of duality,
shown by the two pillars of light and darkness.
To those who know and love her she dispenses
the sweet fruit of the world itself,
symbolized by the pomegranites.
Your Aura is Blue
Your Personality: Your natural warmth and intuition nurtures those around you. You are accepting and always follow your heart.
You in Love: Relationships are your top priority, and this includes love. You are most happy when you are serious with someone.
Your Career: You need to help others in your job to feel satistifed. You would be a great nurse, psychologist, or counselor.
What Color Is Your Aura?
I'd like to meet:
THEE man for me... the right one who can accept me for me, as I am willing and able to offer him the same.
I've been single for what seems an eternity, but I refuse to settle, just "because." My reasons for marriage go far beyond the whimsical, practical nature of many I see. S'pose my time will come and I'll know when I meet him....
I'm not ashamed to embrace my femininity, nor am I afraid to say that "I need a man"...the way nature intended; not in the way of "need" as a crutch or an unhealthy emotional way.
I love to LOVE, but love rarely.....I've been told that I wear my heart and soul on my sleeve and my love is intoxicating...yet, I await my captor still...
I also enjoy meeting fellow creative delvers of life, non-conformists and free thinkers... Fellow endarkened and ancient souls...
People who are open minded and not mentally or emotionally infected with mainstream societal "ills".
Love finding rare breeds of no BS, down to earth good peeps ...those who can appreciate "freaky" in an obscure yet positive way.
"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." ~ Albert Schweitzer"
Music:
My favorite is Gothic, Gothic Rock, Industrial, Electronic & Darkwave, but I do enjoy other music, depending on my mood. I'm very picky about the "new" music, but I have found some that's actually good and doesn't sound like techno-raver.
I also enjoy soul touching Blues and 60's music...
