LUNE QB aka DRAKKEN (D.S.N) is a MC, Producer & DJ from a small suburb of Walsall in the Midlands. Part of Q.BRANCH, he records material with other members but also as a solo artist. LQB has been involved in music for about 10 years, starting off in 1996, Djing at house parties, before moving onto producing DnB & Hip Hop breaks in 2001. Since then, LUNE QBs style has matured and the focus has gradually drawn a lot closer to his lyrics and live performance.
After studying Music Tech at The University of Wolvohampton 2001 2003, he gained a HND and the studio knowledge needed to backup his production and songwriting skills. Since Graduating, alongside the rest of Q.BRANCH, LUNE QB has been organizing and performing at parties in and around the Midlands, as well as the rest of the UK.
A side from gigging, LUNE QBs debut LP is still been recorded, although only half finished, cuts from his earlier 'TGFB Mixtape' have been doing the rounds on pirate and internet radio as well as at venues across the Midlands and via the internet, worldwide.
As one half of DnB outfit 'D.S.N', he has several tracks rotating on various shows as well as the occasional guest Dj slot, including on the infamous District FM, who raised Goldies superstar prodigy Skitty. So far this year, D.S.N have been playing to crowds throughout the midlands as well as guesting alongside DJ INTAKT on world famous DnB radio station 'Rugged North Radio' (with more guest slots to come . . . watch the blog @ www.myspace.com/dsnmusic). Expect to hear several D.S.N remixes, together with a bag of original dubs hitting the scene hard this winter, including the massive 2008 remix of LUNE QBs Chess.
