Stonehaven

New Single, Sacrifice(Run Away),online NOW!

About Me

Stonehaven was formed 5 years ago, and started out as a typical weekend jam session, and has turned into one of the most energetic shows in the South. Stonehaven has been hitting the music scene hard for the last 5 years playing any smoke-filled venue that they can play to spread the word of what Stonehaven has to bring to the table, which is "in your face rock". The guys of Stonehaven are friends first and bandmates second, and the fans can see that chemistry on stage from show to show. Members of Stonehaven have shared the stage with the likes of; The Marshall Tucker Band, Drivin N Cryin, David Allen Coe, 7 Mary 3, The Sick Puppies, Cinder Road, Corey Smith, Isabelle's Gift, and Throttlerod. Stonehaven released their first CD, Empty Eyes, last year after lining up a distribution deal with Super D Distro. It was an acoustic EP that spread like wildfire at shows and on iTunes, showcasing a more laid-back version of some of their upcoming hits. Stonehaven also just released their first two singles, Sacrifice(Run Away) and Personal Hell, via Super D Distro which will be available online mid-June 08'. They are off Stonehaven's upcoming album, Sacrifice, which is due out in August of 08', which is being produced by Zac Thomas(Jam Room Studios). The album is to showcase some of Stonehaven's catchy, melodic, and eye-popping songs that are quickly becoming fan favorites. The songs on the album definitely show the guys' influences, that range from Lynard Skynard, Allman Brothers Band, Tool, Seether, Hank Williams Jr.,Shinedown, Down, Black Label Society, Marshall Tucker, Drivin N Cryin, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and Hootie and the Blowfish. Stonehaven is a regular on the road as they continue to broaden their fan base by playing shows that just showcase their music and also opening for some of the South's biggest name acts. The current line-up for Stonehaven is: Andy Kearse(Vocals,Guitar), Charlie Hutto(Guitar), Mark Cooke(Bass,Vocals), and Johnny Tedder(Drums,Vocals). Some of the current opportunities that Stonehaven is being considered for are; The ongoing Ourstage.com battle, Music for the Troops(compilation CD), Southeast Performer Magazine, and the guys are also in negotiations with a couple of management companies. Someone once said that if Stonehaven had to be summed up in one sentence that, "they would be described as if Shinedown and Seether sat down to have a drink with Johnny Cash and Van Zant." Stonehaven would also like to welcome Doug and Jennifer at Soundwave Bookings to the Stonehaven family, and the guys would like to thank them for bringing Stonehaven on board. There are also some other opportunities brewing, so looks like 08' and 09' are going to be a busy year for the guys of Stonehaven. So be sure to check back often for Updated Tour Dates and Upcoming News and Merch locations...
