About Me

I've been playing Bass almost all my life - started in 4th grade on upright Bass, but quickly caught the rock bug and switched to a Fender Precision. Led Zep, Sabbath, Priest, Maiden, BOC - these were the big influences on me both personally and stylistically. Played in some bands in High School, nothing to brag about....Went to NYU for music and business, and worked in the music industry for a few years after college. Joined a band called Non-Fiction and we landed a record deal w/indie label Grand Slam. Put out our first CD "Preface" in 1991, then got picked up by major label IRS and released "In The Know" in 1992. Did a lot of regional and national touring on our own and playing w/other bands (Confessor, Blitzspeer, Dog Eat Dog, Mucky Pup, Type O Negative, LOA), then in 1993 went on a US and European tour opening for Overkill which was amazing.Came back home, lost our record deal, and floundered about for another year or so before we called it quits. Released a 3rd CD "It's A Wonderul Lie" posthumously in 1995 on Euro Label SPV and did a few shows to support it.After NF I worked a straight job for a few years and had a band called Odd Man Out that played locally and recorded a bunch of stuff - to this day I think this was the greatest band I played in, and we were WAY ahead of our time.Couldn't hold it together though, and after about 3 years split up and I joined Tickle w/former Mind Eraser (remember them?) dudes Jeff Wood and Rob Pallotta and uber-guitarist Pat Piegari (check out his profile on myspace). We put out our own CD in 1997, but Rob left shortly after to join 25 Ta Life and I left the band. Right around this time I was working at guitar effects manufacturer Electro-Harmonix doing marketing and artist relations. In 1998 I got the opportunity to import some guitar effect brands into the USA, so I left EH and started my own company called Godlyke, Inc. We've been rolling for the past 7+ years and keep growing every year with new products and ideas. Many top artists use our effects and instruments, and we are well known for our excellent customer service and product knowledge - check out our products at www.godlyke.com.Besides work, I also have an original, female-fronted funky rock band called Tang! We've been playing on the NJ club scene for about 2 years now, and we do a lot of gigs w/the Hoboken bands like Eugene, Crewman Number Six, Butterspy, High Speed Chase, etc. If your in the area, come check us out - we guarantee to make your booty move!
