The first time the name BÖSEDEATH came up to Toni's (Anthogalidis) mind was around 1986 - by then 13 years old. But the first signs of life where noticeable in 1995. By this time the band consisted of three members (Toni, Holger [Zahnleiter] & Michael [Opper]). The line-up played one gig and just vanished.
About two years later Toni met Daniel (Schäfer). After heaps of concerts of their favorite bands and uncountable pub crawls they decided - in winter 1999 - to pump new life to BÖSEDEATH. They recorded the song "Brutal Brutality" with fellow guitar player Florian (Decher), whom Daniel knew from his former ventures. They filed the song to several regional DJs. In addition Daniel set up a shirt that said 'STIRB OR DIE', it became a immediate classic. The name BÖSEDEATH was all over the place - but nobody knew what is was all about...
BÖSEDEATH where about to change it - but it all turned out differently. In January 2000 Daniel had a serious car accident and the band couldn't go on for about 1 1/2 years. But there was still a serious demand for BÖSEDEATH and the threesome started to write new material with the members of 95 (Holger & Michael). Shortly after that Frank (Nordmann), an old school mate of Daniel, joined the force. The first live appearance was in April 2002, which turned out to be an enormous success. In this state of euphoria they just wanted to write new songs and play even more gigs which where already on the table.
Michael & Holger where asked to leave the band in August 2002 - they had a different musical direction in mind. The next to join the band was Ralf (Tucholke). After a few live gigs with this line-up they recorded in March 2003 the song "Der Haas ist Tot" that ended up on a sampler. This tune and more strong live appearances made it clear - a full CD was needed. BÖSEDEATH and Stefan Büchner, who is in charge of the live sound, recorded in January 2004 finally the CD "...Of Death", which was recorded in the Band's own recording studio.
After one year of promoting the CD, the Band deceided to take a creative break and to do some side projects. In October 2005 the Band met again to write some new Songs. In the meantime Ralf Tucholke left the Band to focus on Lunatic Dictator and was replaced by Jörn (Knieß).
In December 2006 Frank Nordmann decided to leave the Band for personal reasons. After several rehearsals and a strong performance at the Bringer Of Death Fest IX, Tobias (Fischer) joined the Band as the new Guitar Player in March 2007.
