About Me

I write about comics a lot. I'm the Editor in Chief at Comic World News , but I also blog about comics with a bunch of other folks at The Great Curve . I've got a groovy little column about Conan at Pop Thought and I've got my own blog about horror, fantasy, and sci-fi in all mediums. And, oh yeah, I've got a LiveJournal (but that's full of nonsense). I don't need another blog. Honestly. Steve Niles made me come here.

No, actually, it was Josh Fialkov who made me come here. I drop names. Sorry.

I also write some of my own comics and stories. I've had several short comics stories published in TALES FROM THE INNER SANCTUM and a short prose story called "Completely Cold" published in the back of all the September 2005 comics from IDW.

I'm working on a novel. I've recently been informed that it's a "Contemporary Fantasy" novel. That's good to know.

My Interests

I love horror. Mainly the suspenseful kind and the cheesy kind. I can take or leave the gory kind depending on whether or not there's a story to go along with it.

I like fantasy too. I can take or leave the elves and whatnot, but I really like a well-told contemporary or historical fantasy.

I love comics. Any kind. It's the medium itself that gets me.

Actually, I just like good stories of any kind. Any genre; any medium. From Homer to Stephen King; in books, comics, movies, TV, or theater. Doesn't matter.
