All band members had by then played in several different bands along the Norwegian south-coast. The band wrote and recorded 15 songs for their debut album that year.Darling Daizy..s first album .. Passè ..came out in march 2000 on Bratville Records and The Orchard. They played a lot of shows in Norway and went for their first tours in Europe and USA. NBC in America picked 3 songs from .. Passè .. and used them in a youth series called .. SK8 ...In 2001 Andy left the band and Bjorn..s younger brother Kim Kong entered the band to play drums. The band toured Norway and Europe again and started the work on their second full length .. Can I get a woop woop!?. .. Can I get a woop woop!? .. was recorded at ..STUDIO STUDIO.. in Norway. Ronnie Le Tekrô the guitarist from ..TNT.. (and the owner of the studio), signed the band to his label called Beatheaven records and released .. Can I get a woop woop!? .. in march 2003.2003 is so far the best year in the Darling Daizy history. they played over 30 shows on the U. S west coast in 5 weeks. The tour started in Los Angeles at the Hollywood club called ..The Gig.. and ended with a show at the legendary Hollywood club, The Viper Room (owned by Johnny Depp). Darling Daizy toured Europe 2 times with bands like The Lawrence arms, Peepshows, kings of nothing and Fabulous Disaster.The band toured in Norway with Steve .. O from MTV..s Jackass on a sold out tour, wich resulted in ending up with a song and a stunt with Ryan Dunn and Darling Daizy..s Kim Kong on Steve ..O..s DVD .. Out on bail ... The band played at a national Graduating party for 5000 people in may and in July they shared stage with The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and The Murder Dolls at the biggest music festival in Norway called .. Quart Festival ...Darling Daizy ended up on playing over 100 shows in 2003!Darling Daizy's Video single from the "Can I Get A Woop Woop" album, "The Wrong Side", crawled to number 6 in the top charts on National television later the same year.2004 turned out to be a turbulent year for the band when Kim Kong (drummer) decided to check into rehabilitaion centre to get control over his problems with drugs and alcohol.The band agreed to take a long break and by early 2006 Darling Daizy and Kim saw it as the best interest for both parts to go seperate ways. Darling Daizy started the search for the new drummer right away and by the summer of 2006 and ..old.. friend of the band turned up, Espen Dalmo, and a new trio was born.Darling Daizy are currently working on their third full length, planned to be released sometime in 2007.
