About Me

LONG TIME COMMING, but it's the return of Tex Hardcore & the Cow pokers! Tex has been around for a while now, but back when the record industry was too worried about offending people they shunned is music. They deemed it too offensive to air on the radio. Now with the advent of “gangsta rap” and songs with offensive words beeped but still aired, IT IS TIME FOR A RETURN! Tex is a northern hillbilly and proud of it. His daddy came from Tennessee and then, while still a baby, they moved to Alabama where they where share croppers. Moving north after World War II daddy Hardcore became a machine repairman. Always interested in the guitar and mandolin, daddy hardcore would play for family and friends. Thankfully there are recordings of the Hardcore family all sitting around a wire recorder from 1947. So now you know where Tex got is talent from. Tex has been playing music around the Detroit area for around 38 years on a variety of interments. He has also played bass or guitar for many oldies acts including; Little Eva (the locomotion), Johnny Preston (Charming Billy and Running Bear), and the Tokens (lion sleeps tonight). Now back with an all new set of music, Tex is now ready to take on the industry again! Keep looking for new songs and updates as I know this is gonna take off like a bull outta the shoot at a rodeo.
