"A lovely voice"
Jo Frost, SONGLiNES Magazine
"A fine debut EP...with strong acoustic guitar work, unobvious melodic flourishes and above all a soaring sweet voice- **** Trevor Heaton, Eastern Daily Press.
"Her honesty and subtle mix of classical sounds with a folk edge, remind me of some of Nick Drakes work. You get the sense of vulnerability from her that a lot of musicians are afraid to show."
9/10 Outline Magazine

"Lovely songs from this talented young singer songwriter" - Acoustic Showcase, NAC.
Sarah Sixsmith is a young singer songwriter pushing the boundaries of contemporary inspirational acoustic music. With vocals and guitar, she creates a powerful dreamy soundscape as she weaves through her folk infused songs.
Inspired by, amongst others, Portisheads bittersweet sound, the uplifting melodies of Desree and the honesty of PJ Harvey, Sarah creates her style with intricate guitar work and soaring vocals. It excites the senses and the emotive nature of her songs combined with her genuine desire to entertain is enough to move any audience.
Sarah has been playing regularly at well-known venues around the country for the last two years, including Art Centres and the prestigious Borderline and Spitz in London. Sarah has supported top acts like Joan As Police Woman, Van's daughter Shana Morrison, Polly Paulusma and Australian singer songwriter Lior.
With a fascination for lyrics Sarah writes prolifically from the heart to capture some of the most personal moments that she powerfully rediscovers and releases with each performance. She developed a love for singing during her early childhood in rural Castle Acre in west Norfolk.
"I was always fascinated by music and spent years playing the piano and violin. I started playing the guitar when I was 13 and have tried to develop a personal style there too. I often create my own chords to fit with my voice and the songs Im writing."
Having launched her debut EP In My Eyes, last year, to a sell out audience and great reviews, Sarah is working on the final few songs for her eagerly awaited first album. She plans to record it in The Netherlands with the help of her producer brother.
“ I'm really excited about getting my new songs recorded...my music is evolving all the time and it will be interesting to hear the finished product when the album is complete. I'll be playing the guitar and I'm planning on playing the piano a bit more this time, as well has having some double bass and violin.â€
