About Me

now.
LUKE BRANT singer songwriter from the rolling hills of Shropshire brings meaningful songs with an up beat edge. His music has folk influences such as Bon Iver, mumford and sons, frank turner and karine polwart. He grew up to play a an abundance of instruments such as trumpet, cornet, mandolin, drums, bass and then finaly settled in to his acoustic guitar with his huskey voice, original tone and well writen melody. The band have been built around his songs making them sound whole and atmospheric. Drummer Steven Haycock has a excellent ear and outstanding producing skills, he worked with Luke on his last E.P. entitled "This Hope will set you free." Kay Johnson who sings alongside Luke can only be described as soulful, their voices compliment each other, with Kay's velvety sound and Luke's haunting tone. Chris Frazer bass player, has introduced his layed back bass lines to give the songs the groove they require. Blake Probert keys player isthe best listener and finishes songs off with heart felt licks and dramatic dynamics.All in all a unique sound for every ear! ;
