About Me

Even though DJ Ritz aims to be The World Favorite Cracker, there's more to this Tampa native than a po white trash schtick. He has been a deejay for nearly a decade, releasing MIX CD's hosted by luminaries like Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz, Pitbull, DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, Young Buck of G-Unit and the list goes on. He got his deejaying start in the mid-90s using the turntables at a local record store for $10 an hour. After four months, he had saved enough money to buy his first pair of Technics 1200 and it was onward and upward since then. His next move was a power move joining Mad Linxâ€™s Tactics and Methods record pool, establishing him as a street-team grinder. Soon, his turntable skills, as well as his passion and ear for music, landed him a slot with Linxâ€™s deejay squad The Shut It Down Squad. Linx, Ritz, DJ Silent Rage, DJ Knucklez, DJ Q-45, DJ LowDown, Tony Montana, DJ Ryno & DJ Mingle Mixx. Ritz dropped his first Mix CD, "Show You" in 2002, and is currently preparing for a bomb-filled 2008, with WMNF's Saturday Night Shutdown every Sat. Night/Sun. Morning from 12am - 3am and as official deejay for Mo Gutta Game. Stay tuned.
