Drowse is Mike Biagiotti on vocals/guitar, Ca$h D on bass, and Nate Mulhern on guitar. The band is made up of Southern California boys, with Mike and Nate being raised in Orange Country (but nothing like “The O.C.â€) and Ca$h D being from Ventura (just north of Los Angeles). All three came up in the local surf/skate/punk rock culture. All are influenced by such bands as The Pixies, The Stooges, Nirvana, The Misfits, Sonic Youth, X, Primus, The Damned and Jane’s Addiction.Marty Witt has recently been added on drums, and brings hard hitting energy to the mix.Drowse lives just south of Pico, in the culture of Los Angeles that is outside the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. They live and breath the actual working class world that is much more representative of the city than most people want to believe. They have a rough edge and a straightforward attitude, which is kept in balance by a keen sense of humor.
