"The time is near at hand which must determine whether Americans are to be free men or slaves." - George Washington
"The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object." - Thomas Jefferson
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." - Abraham Lincoln

Music:
The Best Male Vocalist Ever!
The Best Band Ever!
MUSIC is LIFE and LIFE is MUSIC! Without it, life would most definitely sink into not only boredom, but trepidation and chaos as well. I wish we could all hear music everywhere we go 24 hours a day. I wish music would drip languidly down from the stars and the moon, perpetually douse us with harmonies and tunes, with melodies so immaculate that we'd all shine with divine choruses and never let creativity die.
I long to hear every groovy song, from happiness to sadness, till I either laugh, fight, relax or cry. Why would you want to live without music? Music is now our weapons of expression. We utilize a song to display how we're feeling at the moment. This is the relavation sensation I've witnessed here at "Vanity Space." Music really is my only friend, until the end.
Classic Rock'n'Roll, Psychedelic Rock'n'roll, Groovy Garage Rock'n'Roll, some Indie, the blues, smooth jazz, '60s pop/bubblegum, doo-wop, rockabilly, psychobilly, some disco, some easy listening, some classic country, classical music, ambience, meditation music, folk, big-band/swing, 80s new wave, some grunge, some old punk, some oi! and some polka, etc.
The FIVE Best Bands In Rock'n'Roll History Are (in this order):
1)The Doors
2)The Beatles
3)Pink Floyd
4)Led Zeppelin
5)The Rolling Stones
I'm attracted to the radical, intelligent, insane, experimental and thought-provoking bands/artists; those who push the boundaries of reality and say things others are timid and afraid to say. Bands/artists that live on the edge, actually have balls, challenge authority, acknowledge and speak politically or socially about current events.
Movies:
"Helter Skelter"
What makes a GREAT movie? What would you call a favorite movie? Well, I'd say it's movies that entertain you so much, that you could watch it over and over and over and never grow tired or bored of it. That is the definition. Sometimes I wish we could all stop working and just watch movies for life and then just discuss them for homework.
Some favorites: Thank You For Smoking, The Number 23, The Outsiders, Rebel Without A Cause, Walk The Line, Fight Club, Mr. Holland's Opus, Great Balls of Fire, Ghost Rider, Deuces Wild, Helter Skelter, Leaving Las Vegas, True Romance, The Notebook, Casablanca, Tristan and Isolde, Untamed Heart, Benny and Joon, The Shining, A Beautiful Mind, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original), The Nightmare Before Christmas, Return to Oz, Edward Scissorhands, The Neverending Story, The Omen, Halloween, Cape Fear, Dazed and Confused, Easy Rider, Cliffhanger, The Breakfast Club, Valley Girl, Heathers, Rudy, Sleeping Beauty, The Program, Rosemary's Baby, Pink Floyd's The Wall, The Doors (w/Val Kilmer), The series of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Heroes:
"That's really hard to say, because one's public persona doesn't always reflect how the person really is. Also, with activists, everything gets so twisted and distorted no one even knows what they're standing for anymore. I really get sick of people who think a change of president for example is going to make a world of a difference, when there is so much corruption that can't be unwound. I guess if I had to say anyone, I'd pick my dad."
