About Me

First, let me just state that I do not have low self-esteem. I have low esteem for everyone else. I'll begin with appearance oriented facts, since that's all anyone cares about.: I have really long, thick hair, am 5'3" and weigh around 110 pounds. Such little space to give you an impression of who I am... I'm probably a contradiction on many levels. It's weird how life changes so drastically all of the time, and what meant the world to you one day can mean nothing the next. Yeah, I like saying things that have nothing to do with the previous sentence. I do it on purpose. And often. I forgot what I was thinking. Oh, some very random "interests": I like playing tennis, imagining, talking with my mouth full, saying "EE!" loudly, buying clothes for 80% off, the times when I truly don't care what others think of me, being as random as possible, peanut butter, candy corn, peaches, seafood, having too many pictures of everything, traveling, playing in leaves, crawling on the floor, studying maps, underware with turtles on them, giggling, being a social retard, going into stores or restaurants and having strange conversations, usually with my dad, driving on an empty road in the middle of the night, saying the stupidest possible things to my cat, Keefy, and singing. I am actually a decent singer. I am extremely arrogant and self-loathing at the same time. I would be happy if I had been born in 1948 and could have lived through 1965-1973, a period in time when music didn't suck. I love and hate attention. My feelings are hurt easily, but on the other hand, a lot of things don't faze me. The only thing that would make me feel like a utter failure is to lead a completely mediocre life and to never take big chances. I get frustrated because it's difficult for me to get along with most anyone. 30% of the time I honestly want to live as a hermit. You should read-- this --if you're in school. Life is amazing, I just forget a lot. I like closing my eyes and spinning when the wind is blowing. I'm afraid for my generation; something big (Great Depression-esque. Doesn't 'esque' give any word an awesome touch?) is likely in my lifetime. You know what I really hate? Dr. Pepper.

My Interests

Myself, my family, my friends, my cat, trying to find entertainment in everything around me, The Beatles, being obsessed with 1965-1973, trying to figure out why people think the way they do, imagining escaping conventional life, music, watching at least one movie per day, reading, learning as much about the world as possible, lowered inhibitions, tennis, eating, cuddling, traveling, self-improvement, spontaneity, philosophy, World War II history, knowing too many geography facts, being a grammar nazi. I love many great things; it goes on and on.

That's really hard to say, because one's public persona doesn't always reflect how the person really is. Also, with activists, everything gets so twisted and distorted no one even knows what they're standing for anymore. I really get sick of people who think a change of president for example is going to make a world of a difference, when there is so much corruption that can't be unwound. I guess if I had to say anyone, I'd pick my dad.
