WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN?
A true Christian is a person who has put his or her faith and trust in the person of Jesus Christ and fact that He died on the cross as payment for sins and rose again on the third day to obtain victory over death and to give eternal life to all who believe in Him.

OUR BELIEFS
All Scripture is self-attesting and being Truth, requires our unreserved submission in all areas of life. The infallible Word of God, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is a complete and unified witness to God's redemptive acts culminating in the incarnation of the Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the supreme and final authority on all matters on which it speaks.
1. We believe in one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To Him be all honor, glory and praise forever!
2. Jesus Christ, the living Word, became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He who is true God became true man united in one Person forever. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, according to the Scriptures. On the third day He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Mediator.
3.The Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior. Indwelling our hearts, He gives new life to us, empowers and imparts gifts to us for service. He instructs and guides us into all truth, and seals us for the day of redemption.
4. Being estranged from God and condemned by our sinfulness, our salvation is wholly dependent upon the work of God's free grace. God credits His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justifies them in His sight. Only such as are born of the Holy Spirit and receive Jesus Christ become children of God and heirs of eternal life.
5. The true Church is composed of all persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, are united together in the body of Christ. The Church finds her visible, yet imperfect, expression in local congregations where the Word of God is preached in its purity and the sacraments are administered in their integrity, where scriptural discipline is practiced, and where loving fellowship is maintained. For her perfecting, she awaits the return of her Lord.
6. Jesus Christ will come again to the earth - personally, visibly and bodily - to judge the living and the dead, and to consummate history and the eternal plan of God. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus." (Rev. 22:20)
7. The Lord Jesus Christ commands all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to make disciples of all nations. Obedience to the Great Commission requires total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us." He calls us to a life of self-denying love and service. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Eph. 2:10)

Can a Christian Be Possessed by a Demonic Spirit?
When I say ..."I am a Christian,"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I was lost!"
That is why I chose this way."
When I say..."I am a Christian,"
I don't speak of this with pride.
Im confessing that I stumble and
need someone to be my guide.
When I say..."I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong.
Im professing that I'm weak and
pray for strength to carry on.
When I say..."I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and
cannot ever pay the debt.
When I say..."I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are too visible but God
believes I'm worth it.
When I say..."I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches which is why
I seek His name.
When I say..."I am a Christian,"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority
I only know I'm loved.

The following IS the MOST Important illustration that you are ever going to read. Please read it carefully and with an open heart.
May the Lord God give you THE GIFT of eternal life.
What do we need to know about God?
God loves us and wants us to have a personal relationship with Him.God loves us even if we haven't loved Him.
"In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us."
1 John 4:10
God wants us to know Him. The Bible says God is at work in everyone's life.
"So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us." Acts 17:27
Our relationship with God has been broken by sin.
We have all made choices showing we are inclined to be:
Passively indifferent to God:
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
Isaiah 53:6
Or actively opposed to God
"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed." John 3:19-20
- The result of our choices to resist or ignore God results in spiritual death (separation from God).
"We are dead in trespasses and sins." Ephesians 2:1
"And thus death spread to all men, because all sinned." Romans 5:12
God has provided a solution for our lost relationship.
-
Jesus Christ came into the world to do for us what we could not do for ourselves.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
He came into the world to bring us to His Father.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.' " John 14:6
He died in our place to pay the penalty for our sin.
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit."
1 Peter 3:18
He rose from the dead to show that His claims were true.
"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep." 1 Corinthians 15:3-6
We must each personally trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We must realize that our own efforts to earn God's acceptance are inadequate.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:5
We must admit our need for forgiveness.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' " Luke 18:13
We must receive Christ and His offer of salvation as a gift.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." John 1:12
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
Where would you place yourself in the following illustration?
You can begin your personal relationship with God by putting your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. You may find it helpful to express your new faith in words similar to these:
Dear God, I know that my sin has separated me from You. Thank You for sending Your Son to die in my place. I now trust Jesus to forgive my sins. I invite Him into my life as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for receiving me into Your eternal family. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Your trust in Jesus Christ begins an everlasting personal relationship with God.
GOD'S COMMITMENT TO YOU:
God assures you that if you have trusted Jesus as your Savior, He has given you eternal life.
"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13
God promises to never leave you.
"I will never leave you nor forsake you." Hebrews 13:5
God has forgiven all of your sins, past, present, and future.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross." Colossians 2:13-14
God has given you His Spirit to enable you to live in a way that is pleasing to Him.
"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." Galatians 5:25
