Promoting a strong commitment to health, well-being, and the environment, Team Green is your connection to the great outdoors. If you've got some "get up and go" then get out with us. Team Green is an affiliate of all outdoor athletic events and adventures in the Middle Tennessee area. We are WRLT's (Lightning 100.1 FM) commitment to uniting our listeners with the outdoors by sponsoring and producing organized adventures, educational expeditions, and service to the environment.
Team Green provides outdoor activities, adventures and social events to members and participants in ways that will inspire, challenge and educate them in ways that no other group can. Our assortment of excursions include an expansive cross-section of activities in which nearly everyone can participate in regardless of past experience, age, ability level, or income.
In addition to planning a variety of active treks, Team Green partners with community organizations to promote events focused on health, well-being, and the environment. By raising awareness of these issues and encouraging local participation, Team Green enhances the sense of community within the Middle Tennessee area. Team Green creates active journeys embracing the natural beauty of the Southeast, thereby encouraging exploration of our regional community. Yet Team Green doesn€™t limit its scope, planning adventures all over the hemisphere that reach beyond the boundaries of ordinary vacations.
