About Me

Light breaks where no sun shinesLight breaks where no sun shines; Where no sea runs, the waters of the heart Push in their tides; And, broken ghosts with glow-worms in their heads, The things of light File through the flesh where no flesh decks the bones.A candle in the thighs Warms youth and seed and burns the seeds of age; Where no seed stirs, The fruit of man unwrinkles in the stars, Bright as a fig; Where no wax is, the candle shows its hairs.Dawn breaks behind the eyes; From poles of skull and toe the windy blood Slides like a sea; Nor fenced, nor staked, the gushers of the sky Sprout to the rod Divining in a smile the oil of tears.Night in the sockets rounds, Like some pitch moon, the limit of the globes; Day lights the bone; Where no cold is, the skinning gales unpin The winter's robes; The film of spring is hanging from the lids.Light breaks on secret lots, On tips of thought where thoughts smell in the rain; When logics die, The secret of the soil grows through the eye, And blood jumps in the sun; Above the waste allotments the dawn halts- Dylan Thomas

Music:

Music: wow... this is loaded question. I'll just be brief. I am a cellist, so Bach Cello Suites and the Rachmaninoff Sonata for Cello and Piano in g minor, and schuman concert for cello... have to go at the top of my list. There is allot more rep than this, but those are my current favorite. Bands, well, I love all kinds, mainly either old school vintage stuff or indi stuff right now. Though, a good song is a good song. Wilco, Whisckeytown, Sigor Ross, Hora Torpedo, Coalmen, Black Andy Roddick Show, Brian Ritchie and his Band, My bands - The Water Color Project, Another Voice Without a Sound, Jet Set String Quartet, and The [B] Brains. The Lylas, Kate York, Bjork, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Necrophagist, The Shutins, Outlaw Richard, Peter Meriwether, Lamb of God, In Transit, Forget Cassettes, Drive By Truckers, The Puppets Revolt (string quartet,) Otis Redding, Booker T and the MG's, Bright Eyes, Feist, Cat Power, Damien Rice, Secret Machines, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, the Beatles, M. Ward, The castanotes, Hank Williams, Ryan Adams, A.P Carter, Buddy Guy, BB King, Bobby Horton, Three on a String, John Lee Hooker, Elvis, Smelvis, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Robert Johnson, The Kronos Quartet, the Turtle Island String Quartet, the Wood Brothers, Del and the Boys, St. Martin in the Fields Academy, The Vienna Boys Choir, The Birmingham Boys Choir, Tawain Death, Hands off Cuba, Elliot Smith, Moby Grape, Spence Dryden, Hot Tuna, Crosby, Stills, Mash, Jefferson Airplane, Allman Brothers, Greatful Dead (all them great old bands, ya know...) Brian Wilson, The Band, Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, The Stooges, Big Ass Truck, Brian Eno ... is there really any point in naming all these bands... a great song is a great song... and a great band is a great band... I am a sucker for music, there's not much i don't like unless it is currently on the radio or popular, in which case it probably pretty much sucks... local music is like a good local microbrew, a local bakery, a local farmer's market, a local symphony, and is as vital to a comunity as the water supply that a comunity drinks from. maintain culture in your comunity. keep this country from turning into a wallmart/Mickey D's, cookie-cutter, brain dead mob of american idol, budweiser swilling masses.... think for yourself, find your roots, f
