Tarnish

In a recent interview Tom North described the band as "distinctive but never predictable". Combining emotive vocals, overlaid with soaring melodies, early experiments with late seventies electronic music blended into a stripped down modern sound.
Tarnish formed in Reading, UK in 2000 swapping songs they had individually written and recorded before recording songs collectively. A year or so later they decided to take their music to a live audience (which is rapidly growing) and are now starting to take themselves seriously as a credible band having performed at such reputable venues as The Bull and Gate and The Halfmoon (London), The Bierkeller (Bristol), The Cavern (Exeter).
