The New Root

The New Root is a female-fronted alternative rock band based in Bristol and regularly touring the UK. Bristol’s Venue Magazine described them as, “…purveyors of an extraordinary sound that we can only describe as a sort of power pop/goth/rock opera hybrid that crashes ever forwards like it's on its way to save the last polar bear from a fragment of iceberg…like a Depeche Mode/Tori Amos wrestling match…the most exhilarating thing we’ve heard all week.” Debut single ‘Sick of Me’ has received airplay on a number of radio stations including BBC Radio Bristol, and over 1000 CD copies of the single have been given away free during the band’s UK tours.Leave a comment here!
