And that is exactly what Battle Scars ENT's alias Da-Oh! brings to the entertainment industry. It has been about a year since Da-Oh! dropped his 3rd MixTape titled "Real Recognize Real" in which he distributed solo throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth revenue, but the multitude of greatness has been enscribed as Da-Oh! has given appearances on MixTapes of other artist. Although eating is an understatement, Da-Oh! is preparing to launch is First debut Album entitled Da-Oh! short for "Da Appetite On Hongreh!" Da-Oh! was born Damion Mackey 20 years ago in the gutta city of Shreveport, LA. He grew through hard times living with his single mother from home to home until hitting the streets of Texas. Da-Oh! has book sense, but his street credibility has allowed him to surpass the artist of modern society. At the age of 15, he began in the streets hustling to make change. Coincidentally, he also began rapping at the same time. The Dallas hip-hop scene is just beginning to bubble and Da-Oh deserves to be apart of it. By 2002 Da-Oh received the attention of once growing, now evolving empire, Battle Scars Entertainment. In 2005 Da-Oh was signed to Rep Dat Souf productions temporarily. Throughout the streets of Dallas, Da-Oh dropped his first MixTape “Take It To Da Streetz Vol. 1†which was a creation of a huge success for a local artist. “ The response that I got from that CD was like Damn! Da-Oh, I didn’t know you rap like that†the rapper states. It was a good production, but not the best yet. Nearly 4 months later, Da-Oh dropped his second MixTape “Da Grind Iz In Effek!†With that title, he began grinding in the streets trying to distribute to any and everyone possible. The Mixtape was full of hot tracks including “Girlfriend, Cadillacin, and Leenin N Swerrvin.†In 2007, a dramatic incident occurred while living in Dallas, Texas. His father was incarcerated due to “snitching ass niggas who gone get popped off†states Da-Oh! “But you can’t let that bother you as an artist, one must be open minded in order to grow. The whole Battle Scars Entertainment been planning to do entertainment such as movies, videos, television shows, and even cartoons. We look at life and see opportunity.
